Chapter 3 Blog:1) Do you see any similarities between the Animal Farm and Our Society?

There are many similarities and differences between our world and the Animal Farm. For example a similarity between both societies would be our government. For our society and theirs, the pigs are the government in Animal Farm. In our society different politicians and parties form the government, just like the Pigs. Also our government systems are the same; Democratic because both groups have a government; the people choose/ animals choose who, in this chase it is the pigs. We also have free committees and programs provided by the government for the people, such as the Universal Health Care Program and the Egg Production Committee.

The difference between both our societies is that they are against the humans. But we're against our selves with in our own species. For example that they are comrades, but with in our specie (humans) we go against our selves and kill each other within our society.

This book some times makes me ask my self or wonder: How come humans have such a hard time getting along with each other? Even though the animals just like us have different groups among them selves, but get along so well. How come we can't?

What I Think About the Book So Far?

Animal farm is a great book so far and I'm starting to enjoy it. At first in chapter 1 I thought that this book was a boring, therefore their was no suspense, well not much. Mostly first chapter contained introduction and meeting new characters.

Something I found weird about this book was that the main character in this book, Old Major after making his speech in chapter one had died in the beginning of chapter 2, in his sleep. Even though the rebellion had started in chapter 2, if ever to be the author I would keep Old Major alive so he could have led the beginning of the rebellion. By least I would keep Old Major alive till then and later on I would get him killed in a major event, so that the book could define that the animals were ready to defeat the enemies them selves. Looking at the means of this book I think that this story wont be a flash back story after all, since we have met even more characters and the rebellion has already started. There is also a chance of the rebellion to fail because, when seeing the financial standard of Mr. Jones it is obvious that he will move out and some one even worse will move in.

Lets see if the rebellion succeeds or not, or if the animals survive?

Question 3: Chapter 3 Prediction

I predict that in the next chapter after Mr. Jones is beaten up; due to his anger he have in his custody the 2 boars. Instead of selling them like he is expected to he'll just kill them: inferring to what human does when he is out of his senses and something bad has happened to him, he ends up ruining everything for himself. If this event were to happen/ or take place in actual in the book Mr. Jones would still not be able to kill Snowball and Napoleon because of the "comradenisim" the animals have amongst them selves which they've already shown Mr. Jones and his men, probably Mr. Jones would probably beaten up again or this time may just be killed. But sooner or later a new entry of another farmer will take place in the book, which might cause even more trouble to this animal kingdom or group more than ever. Their is also a chance of the to rebellion to fail due to this; and according to Mr. Jones financial condition it is obvious that a new farmer his family will move in very soon, and Mr. Jones will be moving out.

I guess we should read and find out!!!

activity#1: prediction before reading the book

I predict that this book (Animal Farm) will be about animals being treated unfairly.
-Animals vs. humans: sometimes the humans are killed; but most of the time animals are ones being murdered. This book may also be talking about this book may also be talking about talking farm animals and their adventures of the animal kingdom, like in the movie Madagascar. Animal farm may also be talking about animals; savaging animals; bad animals versus good, Or even animals helping humans. I think animal farms going to be a great book, and I look forward to reading it and enjoying it!
